Maggie Perion, Master Level Clinical Intern

Maggie is a Clinical Intern completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University.

Maggie understands that it can be scary to begin therapy and uses kindness and humor to create a space for clients to feel safe and comfortable. She believes in the importance of taking a holistic, client-centered approach to best support clients in achieving their goals.

Maggie enjoys working with adolescents and her prior experience as a high school teacher has given her a unique ability to understand the challenges that teens can face both in and out of school. Maggie can help with depression, anxiety, and challenges navigating school and relationships.

She is also passionate about working with adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, addiction, and life transitions.

In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, trying new restaurants with friends and family, taking long nature walks, and traveling.

Maggie is accepting new clients in the Schaumburg and Lake in the Hills locations.
