Krista Mueller, LPC, NCC

Krista has completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University & has been with Owen’s since 2021. 

She is passionate about creating a warm partnership to empower individuals to face any challenges or stressors that life may be presenting. She enjoys helping individuals gain awareness of not only themselves, but awareness of different perspectives of the situation they may be facing to be able to ensure as much understanding as possible to make the decisions that are right for them.

Krista has experience working with adolescents & all adults experiencing difficulties with focusing, stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, relationships, life transitions, achieving life goals, & more to explore, motivate, & empower change. She enjoys using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy & mindfulness techniques to develop individuals’ strength to support them in their life journey. She focuses on building relationships with humor, empathy, patience, & collaboration.

Krista is an animal lover who enjoys hiking, exploring nature, baking, & gardening.
