Krista Mueller, LPC, NCC

Krista loves helping people explore, motivate, and empower any change desired to live their best life. She will welcome you with a smile and bring you to a tranquil environment with soothing sounds. Krista has experience working with stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, relationships, life transitions, grief, personality and mood disorders, and career counseling.

She is passionate about creating a warm partnership with adolescents, teenagers, and adults to empower them to face any challenges or stressors life may be presenting. She enjoys helping individuals gain awareness of themselves, and different perspectives of the situation they may be facing to provide the deepest understanding in order to make the decisions that suit them best.

Krista has completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University and has been with Owens since 2021.

She steers towards using a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, incorporating numerous mindfulness techniques to develop individuals’ strength to support them in their life journey. She focuses on building relationships with humor, empathy, patience, and collaboration.

Krista is an animal lover who you’ll most likely find either hiking, exploring nature, baking, or gardening.
