Jacob Wallin, Master Level Clinical Intern

Jacob is a dedicated Clinical Intern nearing completion of his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Judson University. Guided by the principles of person-centered therapy and Rogerian thinking, Jacob’s approach is rooted in empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard.

His journey into counseling began with a deep-seated calling that has resonated with him since his formative years. Drawing inspiration from his active participation in sports, he has come to recognize the transformative power of resilience, perseverance, self-awareness and teamwork.

Jacob’s enthusiasm for his work is evident as he eagerly integrates his knowledge and expertise across diverse age groups. He finds particular joy in working with children and guiding adolescents through their crucial developmental stages.

In his counseling practice, Jacob strives to create a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and confront life’s challenges. He is committed to helping individuals find their inner strength and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s ups and downs with resilience and confidence.
