Elizabeth Young, PharmD, CHWC, Master Level Clinical Intern

Elizabeth is completing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Bradley University. She also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology and a doctoral degree in clinical pharmacy practice. She has been a certified health and wellness coach for more than five years.

Elizabeth’s approach to counseling is person-centered and integrative, empowering clients to discover their strengths and possibilities in an empathetic, inclusive, and safe environment. Her experience brings a unique perspective to help clients and caregivers be resilient while navigating the challenges to wellness throughout life. Her approach can be especially helpful in addressing concerns related to adapting to chronic illness, getting older, and work-related stressors or career transitions.

Elizabeth understands the challenges of day-to-day living and life transitions. They can be stressful and sometimes overwhelming. Counseling can help, and Elizabeth enjoys helping clients discover their own brain-based strengths and build a toolbox to manage challenging emotions and successfully improve overall health and wellness.  

Elizabeth is proud to come from a large family of Veterans. She loves to read about science and history, tend her herb garden, spend time in nature, and listen to anyone who wants to share stories about their life and experiences!
