School is right around the corner. Stress levels are rising and people are rushing to get last second school supplies or back to school clothes. Everyone’s sleep schedule is scrambled and things may seem out of place. Time management is very important this time of year. It is important to have your priorities straight. It is ideal to keep stress levels low and remain organized.

Here is a list of things to ease stress:

  • Taking  a walk or any form of exercise
  • Taking a 20 minute nap
  • Writing down priorities on a list
  • Taking a hot bath or shower
  • Listening to happy music
  • Watching a funny show
  • Spend time with family
  • Turn phone off for a while
  • Spend time with friends
  • Be prepared for tests and set aside time to study for them
  • Keep on top of assignments so there is no buildup of late work
  • Get a decent amount of sleep each night
  • Take deep breathes

List of things to help with time management:

  • Make a schedule with times of when you are getting stuff done
  • Set alarms
  • Plan ahead
  • Prioritize things that need to be done

List to help organize:

  • Keep binders with tabs
  • Keep a planner
  •  Make a checklist of thing that need to be done
  • Keep notes color coded
  • Keep a separate homework folder so you do not lose anything

There are many other ways to stay organized, manage time, and relieve stress you just have to figure out what works best for you. You will survive just take it day by day one step at a time!
