Christina is a Clinical Intern, completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

Christina believes the therapy room is a unique and safe place to explore one’s personal life story.  By creating a comfortable and non-judgmental environment, she hopes to empower individuals to explore their self-identity and overcome their fears and challenges.  Her personal experiences have allowed her to empathize and relate naturally to how others feel and what they are experiencing on multiple levels.  Christina utilizes an understanding, authentic, and compassionate approach to develop a deep and genuine therapeutic relationship with her clients.  She sees the value in being vulnerable and wants to walk alongside her clients through their journey.  Christina feels it is a privilege to witness her client’s personal growth and see them free of emotional and psychological pain.

Christina is passionate in working with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and other distressing symptoms.  She is dedicated to working with those with relationship issues, low self-esteem, and boundary issues.

Christina is a master at chess (just joking, but she’s pretty good), making a mess in the kitchen, and spending time with her family and her cat.

Christina is currently accepting new clients in the St. Charles and Warrenville locations and can be reached at cchychula@owenscounseling.com
