About Our Owner Alan Owens, D.Sc., LCPC |

Alan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) specializing in behavioral and choice therapy for adolescents and adults. Alan also holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology (D.Sc.). Alan is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Aggression Replacement Training. Alan is also a faculty member at National-Louis University and a member of the Red Cross disaster response team. He has provided crisis counseling in response to numerous national and local disasters including the World Trade Center attack of 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the Lincoln Park porch collapse.
